Latshaw Commercial History
Robert “Bob” E. Latshaw, Jr. founded Latshaw Commercial in January 1975. The company grew from its original five associates through the decades to become one of the most knowledgeable and professional real estate service organizations in Maryland.
Bob was awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation upon the completion of his documented successful real estate transaction history and over two hundred hours of course work, including subjects such as real estate valuation, real estate marketing, real estate investment, and tax analysis.
Respected by his peers for his knowledge, professionalism, and leadership, he was named the Great Baltimore and the Maryland State REALTOR® of the Year in 1982. The year before that, he was elected President of the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS®.
Before starting his real estate career, Bob Latshaw served in the Maryland General Assembly as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing the Towson area from 1970 to 1974. During that period, he also served as the Vice President of The Johns Hopkins Hospital real estate management subsidiary, the Broadway Management Corporation.
Latshaw Commercial specializes in commercial property transactions and has become one of Maryland’s most respected full-service real estate brokerage and management companies. It offers its Greater Baltimore area and Maryland customers local and regional services.
